Today I came across an amazing little video on YouTube provided by the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP). It's just over 6 minutes long and contains interviews with surgeons, cardiologists and other staff at CHOP specifically regarding Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) and the future/outcomes that can be expected following the staged reconstruction surgeries (Norwood, Glenn, Fontan) that Chase and all other HLHS babies go through. This video was a bright spot of inspiration to me, and I hope it will be for you, too!
YouTube has disabled the ability to embed the video, so all I can do is provide a link to YouTube so you can watch it yourself. I highly recommend my fellow heart moms take a look at this! It is such an encouragement!!!

Also, it looks like CHOP has an entire series of videos on HLHS that are very informative, from diagnosis, to surgery and treatment, etc. Take the time to watch some of these and you'll learn a LOT about what heart parents experience through this HLHS journey with our sweet babies!
Awesome videos! I have never seen them before. Thanks for posting this! :)
