We did get to spend some time with him yesterday and see his beautiful face. Late yesterday they decided to put in a breathing tube, not because he was having trouble breathing but as a preventative measure. I'll try to explain more on that later. Here's a pic of our cutie!
Here's one after the breathing tube and ng tube were put in. I still think he's a cutie!!!
Please continue to keep us in your thoughts and prayers! I'll share more info later. Right now we're waiting for a surgery case to settle in at the PCICU so we can see him again!!!

This is one of those times being a textbook case is probably a good thing! My prayer is that a week from now the worse part of all this will be over and you will be able to hold and cuddle your son as much as you want again, even if still at the hospital.
ReplyDeleteI think he is quite the cutie and has the most precious little lips!
I will be praying as you try to digest all the information that you are being given.
He is so handsome! You sound great, and I hope you are doing well (and recovering from the birth)! Hoping Chase's health is on the up and up!
ReplyDeleteOh, Kathy! What a precious little guy!! I love that pic of him with his football hat on, he's very squeezable looking. :) I will be praying for you guys always. How is everyone else? You, Sean, LO?? I'm also so thankful there is someone there to give LO full attention! That is such a blessing, I'm sure!
ReplyDeleteKathy,
ReplyDeleteChase get prettier every post. (Is it OK for a boy to be pretty?) Curtis and I are praying for all of you.
Chase is such a cutie! I'm glad he's doing good and the doctors seem to think he's a "textbook" case. That seems to be good news so far! We're praying for yall!
